I'm Hitesh Ranga, and my family is facing conflicts due to constant fights, threats, and false accusations from my brother Deepak's pregnant wife, Poonam, and her brother. Poonam is creating tensions by arguing with family members and threatening to file false cases of abuse. What steps should I take legally to prevent these issues and protect my family in the context of Indian laws? Seeking guidance on documenting incidents, professional intervention, and potential legal measures.

Hello You can lodge a complaint against her at nearest police station stating that she is threatening to file false cases and every time indulge into verbal violence. Your mother can also file Domestic violence case before court. But before initiating the legal process, it is advisable that couple should consider marriage counselling. Thank you.
