Q: Landlord harassing with restrictions not mentioned in lease

Hi, our landlady has started imposing unfair restrictions on guests, which were not mentioned on the contract or even verbally agreed to. She asks for family numbers and threatens us to call them up, we are all adults. Since the lock in period is 11 months, we cannot get out. What is the option that we have? We also do not want to lose our security deposit.

Greetings for the day, In this situation wherein you have been harassed by your landlord, you must approach civil court seeking estoppel on their acts as you are entitled to live in the house for 11 months. Also this will have no effect on your security deposit.

Q: Regarding property issue of Paternal side

My grandfather passed away in November last year. He wrote a will in 2014, which was being given to us by our chacha after almost 7 months after his death. The house is divided into 2 portions and I being the only girl child of my parents, we including my parents didn\'t got anything from the will prepared. My parents can stay in the house but Can\'t sell it nor give it to someone. my guardianship is given to my chacha chachi when my parents are alive. Pls guide if it\'s forged or true.

Greetings for the day, In the situation which has been stated by you, wherein you parents are debarred from certain rights in the property and your guardianship is given to your uncle, you must challenge the will before the court to nullify it.

Q: adopted Mother Deny property rights to adopted Son after spouse death

My age 31, my Adopted Father Past away 8 years ago & Now my adopted mother deny the property rights to me, in the influence of her brother & sister. My Mother giving the property rights to her brother & sister. What can i do now to claim that property, property is in the same of my mother. I have Adoption documents.

Greetings for the day, In this situation wherein your adopted mother is denying you the rights for inheritance in the property and is giving her rights to her siblings, you must approach the court seeking your rights in that property being the legal heir of your adopted mother and father as soon as possible.

Q: warrant is issue for me or after 28/08/2023
