A registered marriage cannot simply be cancelled by the Marriage Registrar. The appropriate remedy depends upon the circumstances. If the marriage is void or voidable either a petition for decree of nullity can be filed or you can opt mutual divorce after completion of a year.
Q: Son not taking care of old parents
My brother in law has thrown his old helpless parents out of the house . They are 85 yrs old and have no source of income. Whereas my brother in his son daughter in law and daughter all earn more than 6lac a month. Can we file a case against him to take care of his old helpless parents.

Since both parents are 85 years old and have no independent source of income, they can take legal action against their adult son for maintenance and care.The most direct remedy is under the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007. Section 4 permits a parent who is unable to maintain himself/herself from his or her own earnings or property to seek maintenance from one or more adult children.

I'm brought up by my single mother who got separated to my father when I was in school. I had been in touch with him and we co own property. Aap unkay against police mein complain lodge krayein or sath he maintenance u/s 125 CrPC k tehat court mein case file kr dein taki apka or bucho k mahinay ka kharcha court decide kr dey. Agr phir bhi pay nhi krtay to court custody order k sath he unki property/assets bhi attached kr sakti hai taki apko relief mil sakayDhanaywad.
