Dear Member please note that every document has its specific purpose. The voter i-card is to identify the identity of the i-card holder and specifically its citizenship. On the other hand the birth certificate discloses the date of birth, name, gender, father's name, mother's name etc but do not ensure its citizenship. There will be no problem if there contains your biological father's name in your birth certificate and other documents contain your adopted father's name rather please be informed that the birth certificate serves the purpose of data related to your biological father.

Definitely it is a problem oriented scenario..your biological father is the actual ..so you or your mother cannot deny the right of your deceased father..you must swear one first class judicial magistrate Affidavit for rectification of the same..and for further details you must contact immediately..thanks

If the name of your father is different in your birth certificate and in other documents then go the concerned Municipal Authority and asking them to make the necessary changes in your birth certificate after fulfilling all the necessary formalities. Regards.

Your biological father is your only father. Once in birth certificate your father's name has been registered, it can't be changed at any time under any circumstances. You will face problem if your others documents hold different father's name.
