Husband is in abroad, I have delivered baby and it's been 4 months now. In-laws and husband is forcing me to stay in in laws home, but I am not comfortable with the room they gave and there are lots of comfort issues, also I am little shy that brother in law and co sister is also living with us. So I am more comfortable in my home. Is it illegal to stay in parents home post delivery if husband is in abroad? If staying in parents home is legal, how many days of stay would be legal?

no legal issues in it, you can live as many days you wish till your husband come to India and take care of you showing love and care, privacy and comfortability is very important that too for women when you in post delivery situation

Fisrt of all you must think family life is most important rather than thinking about your comfort of living in husband's house. If you feel this kind of discomfort should have been decided before marriage. Of course you can go stay with your parents if your husband allows you to go. But you cannot go against his wish.

you can claim all the residential right with your husband it is a duty of the husband to provide residence and even in case of differents of opinion or in case of separation it is the legal obligation for your husband to provide residence for the only the domestic violence act is created and through the domestic violent act you can see residence with your husband only not yet your parents
