Me and some of my friends have been arrested and taken to police station 5 months before they asked as to give name and address and asked as to leave.After our another friend has went to the police station next morning to resolve the issue after that i have received no information about the case.ow after 6 months a person from police station calls and asked me to come to court and resolve my issue.I don't know if a case is put against me or not can someone please help me?

Q: Meaning of uncontested dismissed
Hello Team As we are running civil case between the my family and my father brother family . As for all hierings on behalf of my family advocate has appeared in high court and explain our concerns but the opposite party (i.e my father brother family) have not appeared anytime to the court . So not the case has been closed as uncontested dismissed . So now how can we find which party got favour on this case . What all possibilites we will have to win this case in further if we appeal futher . Also kindly clarify the better meaning of uncontested dismissed .

uncontested dismissed mean it does not mean opposite party not appear. it's really means the party who filed the case is not contested dismissed or your advocate appeared but your case has convinced the court to allow the suit, so it was dismissed eventgough uncontested by other side. My suggestion is ask your advocate to get order copy and read
