Wife should raise her voice against this brutal behaviour of her husband. If she bears her husband's ill treatments. He will be encouraged more. Wife should either file a complaint in women cell or lodge an FIR or both. Under sce 498 A , Court has ample power to put behind the bars of the culprit. Wife has to make up her mind and should initiate legal proceedings otherwise she will be harassed on each and every day and husband's offence will not be known to anyone. Revert me.
