I have a maintenance case filed by my wife.
How can I forward the case to lok Adalat, kindly guide me...
As my wife is not ready to come back to her matrimonial life
you have to appear before court and need to file vakalath , when your wife present before court tell your lawyer to request for mediation , court considering your prayer and position of parties refer the matter for the court.

If you want you can ask court to refer it to lok adalat once you decide to pay and negotiate the maintenance amount if not its advisable to contest the case filed by her and also if she's educated enough you can get her claim repudiated
