Father not support the family. (Mother, Sister and Me)

21-Jun-2023 (In Family Law)
My father had left us since 2017 and he has never supported my family neither helped me in my graduation. I have been running my family by giving tution since the age of 18. He never gives any money for even basic things like ration and all. He has some politically strong friends that is an ex-sarpanch of our village who is supporting him in all this. Can I take any action which would help us getting our basic rights?

In such situation the wife unmarried daughter and son below 18 years of age can file a case of maintenance against the man and definitely the goat will grant some basic amount to the agreived persons. For any other information you can book appointment and contact.

Yes ofcourse. Its the duty of the father to maintain his children. Since u are working hard to meet your expenses it become a major duty on the part of your father. Dont worry about his political allies, court will take care of that.

your mother can take action under section 125 of CRPC against your Father for maintenance. but you can't take any action for maintenance against your Father as you are 18+. If your Father have a daughter then she can claim maintenance untill she does not marry.
