Domestic violence and torture against family by a father

Regarding my father, he is differently abled(blind) and has a steady job but does violence literally hitting and use of abusive language and mental torture against me, mother, brother and family. He even has an extra marital relationship for 10 years now. I'm a female. And I'd like to know what all actions can be taken regarding this situation. We want to get rid of him. Me and my brother are major.
There are several Legal recourses to this situation under domestic violence act and Criminal law.

you can file a domestic violence petition against your father who is misbehaving with you and your mother and also you can claim maintenance from him and for your mother if he is working and earning handsome salary . also you can file other complaints against your father before different forms .
