Domestic violence and threat to leave by husband

Respected sir, my sister got married last year (2017), Her hasband threatening her to leave her , he also doing domestic violence with her. She is very worried . All the family members abusing her . They also don't care when she ill. Many times her hasband beat her, and misbehaving .. please please suggest me anything what should we do sir

Hello Herby i am replying to the query seeked by you. As you have stated about the circumstances i would like to suggest you that immediately meet to an advocate of your local district and tell him all the story which you have narrated here and file an FIR against all the family members including husband.

There is special law against domestic violence. Your sister can file a case before civil court judicial Magistrate against domestic violence. She can file an application before local police also. If she is not in position to file it , you or your parents can lodge a complain before local thana. It is also open to for you to sent an application to superintendent of police of your area.

U can file a case of sec498a ipc along with dowry act.And u will also ask for maintenance and cost of litigation which she bearer in litigation. And if she want then u can also file a case for divorce .

There are several laws which gives ample right to your sister to protect herself against harsement from her husband and his family members. Contact a good lawyer, apprise him about all facts and act accordingly as per his advice.
