does a father has any rights on his child or not

I have a son 4.6 year.he is with wife.she take the child whenever she wants to her parental and sisters home.I DONT want that.i want child and wife to be with me .I want to be liberal with wife but her arrogant and lieying behaviour fed me up. she lives seperately.she want to seperate me from my parents and to live seperately.I have given her notice to live with me along with child. can i have any right to avoid wife from taking the child?is their any law in the law of court?
okay I understand your questions so now your wife and your child live saparatly so now you want to live with your wife and child right. so you have to send one legal notice to your wife and child come and live with you then also she is not come to live with you . if you want your wife 100/.you will file it case in court RCR case like if you wnt your wife. if you don't won't your wife file it Divorce case if you need any legal help contact me thank you

You have to file a permanent child custody case against your wife and get restraint order against order with only limited visitation rights. Welfare of the child is most important and if you demonstrate before the Court that you are bonafidely looking after all the needs and requirement of child then you will succeed.
