Debt Dispute and Threats: Seeking Legal Recourse

23-Sep-2023 (In Family Law)
My uncle borrowed money, promised to repay in 6 months, but it's been 3 years. He threatens us, which I've recorded. No formal agreement as he was uncle. Can these call recordings prove his debt in court? Need legal advice.

hi if the period is less than the period of 3 years then you could send legal notice to him asling him to pay the money and if he failed to act upon it then you could file civil suit for recovery of money in court

Yes you can prove in court of law only if you recorded video properly in which your uncle seen admitted that he borrowed money and also given open threats. Gather all the material evidence after that you can file for recovery of money in civil law and also you can file criminal case for threatening with dire consequences.
