Complaint against the second marriage of husband done forcefully

sir I m widow I have ten years kid again one of my friend proposed me he knows every thing he statred loving me then we married in temple then we have registerd our marriage in register office now there parent's not accepting because I m widow he is telling me allow him for one more marriage becuase of his parent's and he got engengement also without knowing to me and there parent's n himself they 're telling to leave me otherwise they will die and it's 7 years of love plz tell me legally what can i do

If your husband is Hindu or christian Second marriage during the subsistance of first marriage is null and void. It is also an offence punishable either upto 7 years or 10 years depending on the facts of the case as per privisions of ipc.

U are leggaly wedded wife .so he can not marry second without divorcing u.You can file case against u. The second marriage is not valid. So don't worry. You can give police complaint.

Respected, as your informed you are a widow and your have registered your marriage, therefore you dont scare for other threat. Here allowing him to do another marriage is also amount to adultery.

Both of you are major and you can decide your life. Apart from this he should inform of the same in you. It seems he had done intentionally.


Here you can file a petition for restitution of conjugal right on the basis of marriage certificate. As You informed his engagement is already done. Please proceed immediately before his marriage.

When wife is living and they are not divorced, then if he tries to marry some body else becomes illegal. You can approach the local police and file complaint against your husband and his parents. In support of your complaint, you can submit your husband's engagement photos with the other lady.

legally you are wedded wife and have all legal assistance to take action against your husband and his family members, but you should have all related documents about engagement and all then only you can proceed according to law
