Can i claim share on my grandfather's property if he is still alive

My grand father is alive, and recently he sold a property. Can i claim my share in his self aquired property?

No your grandfather self acquired in you can't claim your share.if property inherit property than your share is involved and you can claim for your share.h hindu law in joint undivided property in three degree of Male have his right in this property he claims his share his property at anytime.

When your grandfather have her self aquired property. You cannot have right in her property but you get court stay if property is in your possession..:::::::::::///////////

दादा जी के जीवित रहते हुए स्व अर्जित संपत्ति पर आपका हक कानूनन नहीं हो सकता क्योंकि आपके दादा जी द्वारा अर्जित संपत्ति उनकी खुद खरीद की हुई है इसलिए आप जीते जी उनकी संपत्ति में कोई कानूनन अधिकार नहीं रखते हैं

No, legally you cannot claim directly for in his self acquired property but Yes, its possible only in that case if there is no Grand father Son's and Daughter's alive. so there is need to understand the actual facts and related documents of this issues.

You can claim for your share only in ancestral property , as you have stated that property in question is self acquired of your grand father , So there is no scope to claim in property of your grand father.
