Can I apply for father's job after his death ?

My father expired in 2017. He was govt employee in PSPCL as SDO post. I am doing b.tech in electrical engineering. My last year exam are finished but Result is pending. Can I apply father job ? If yes which post give me

You may apply for compasinate appointment if there will be any special criteria for the post they issue a letter to you. Then youay check whether you are eligible format post or not. First you should apply for the post.

Certainly you can apply for same post if you otherwise fulfill the eligibility subject to whether PSPCL considers job on compassionate ground, i.e. in place of your father. Even if you are not eligible for same post, PSPCL may adjust you as per their policy.

You need to read service rules of the concerned department in which your father was working. As per the guidelines of the service rules, you need to apply . It is must that you shall be eligible for the job allowed on compassionate ground. If your qualification does not suit the compassionate job allowed, you will be offered for lower rank job in which your qualification falls.

In case you does not get job on compassionate ground, you may proceed through court.

Yes you can be given a job on compassionate grounds I mean when your father died is of worth consideration you must see a lawyer and discuss but yes you can apply if you fall in such a category good luck
