Can boy friend sue girlfriend on grounds of harassment

I am in live in relationship. The boyfriend has cheated on me. And now he wants to sue me for mental Harassment. Is that even possible?

Since our Indian society is given preference to women but men have been facing lot of problems in dowry harassment and domestic violence act but now a day many judgment are forthcoming that man can also file domestic violence against women do if your boy friend has sufficient documents of harassment he can file case for mental harassment .

Question: I am in live in relationship. The boyfriend has cheated on me. And now he wants to sue me for mental Harassment. Is that even possible? Not possible. Because you are in living in relationship not in a marriage relationship . Here you have separate identity but you cannot be recognizes you as a Spouses as per law. For cheating, he can file a case if he is having sufficient proof. So he cant file mental harassment case against you.

He cannot sue you for mental harassment. I dont what case he filed. You can file a case on him claiming maintenance because you were live in relation with him. Do you have any documents or not to show your relation with him?

if you were in relationship, it is your lack of experience of life. Before you get cheated by the boyfriend report the same to the police. Narrate your plight to the Police, who would come to your rescue. Good Luck.
