Questions Answered by Advocate Chandraiah
Q: Cheated by chit fund company, how to recover amount?
I had deposited some x amount in this XYZ chit fund pvt ltd before demonetization. And now after all these months when i ask them to return my money they are not ready to return it. They are giving me Reasons like 'We are in problem after demonetization' and hence can not give your money back for now. They are not paying the interest amount too after demonetization and when asked they are saying they cannot even pay interest amount and need time to pay my money. And after all these drama they want to pay me 10,000 each month as in my principle amount and no interest included. If calculated i should receive around 7000 as an interest per month for my principle amount. If they pay 10000/month its is going to take years to pay my principle amount that to without interest and it does not serve my purpose. As i kept that money aside as savings. And i have a bond provided by provided by them at the time of depositing as a proof. What legal action can be taken to recover my money, how to file a complaint against chit fund company ?
Advocate Chandraiah answered
Your query does not disclose as to whether you have deposited legally or you possess legal document to establish that you have deposited and if so on what terms etc., Better four you to approach an advocate with all your papers to get suitable advise.Monetary transaction shall not be done on confidence, shall be done only in accordance with law. Good Luck.

Q: can i file a case against my boyfriend for cheating?
I was in a relationship with a boy for four and a half years. He promised to marry me, and I spent all my money on him since he was jobless. For three years, we lived together and were physically involved. However, without informing me, he got married to another girl. When I found out, he continued to talk to me as if everything was normal and denied getting married when I confronted him. I informed his family, and his father threatened that he would die if I interfered in his son's life. Now, he claims that he unknowingly ruined my life and says he can't marry me because he is legally married to someone else. He told me to go and seek help wherever I want. I am currently staying in Bangalore, while he resides in Pondicherry. Please advise me on the legal actions I can take against him to hold him accountable for using and discarding me in such a manner. How to file a case against cheating boyfriend?
Advocate Chandraiah answered
The story-like facts you have narrated do not disclose what evidence you have to establish that you lived together as husband and wife on his promise. Did anybody notice that you lived together, and at what address—whether in a rented house, etc.? The act of your boyfriend is an offence punishable under the Indian Penal Code. Approach an advocate of your choice with full details. Cross-check with other sources. Thereafter, choose to take action as permitted under the law. The law always helps those who have been deprived of their rights. Be confident. Good luck.

Liquor shops is attached to one of residential house. and in front of our house just 2-5 mts away liquor shop is operating, drunkers will always do smoking/vomiting/pass urine in front of the house. we are not in the position to ask, if we ask they will quarrel with bad words. so what can be done to relocate this liquor shop. can a liquor shop be opened in residential area ?

The law on issueance of licese to run the liquor shop is very clear to the effect that the existence of the liquor shop shall not be a nuisence to the residential area person.
