If a person who had been charged for Murder has been acquitted in the High court , Can one appeal to the supreme court in this regard?

Yes appealable. But the appealing person has to show to court he or she is agrieved by the acquittal order passed by the High Court. Better to have a discussion with the advocate, who is practicing on criminal law.

if you Would like to know the period taken to get bail from the date of application, firstly it depends to which court you have made application. There is no guarantee to have bail for offence of Section 376 of Indian Penal Code. In case of Section 498-A, it depend upon the pendency of work of the court. your application is not intelligible to know whether it is for regular bail or for the person in Judicial Custody or for anticipatory bail. Q: Need information on property ownership name change

Hi, My Family has Me, my husband, son and mother in law. My father in law was died in 2008. My husband has 3 sisters and all are married. We have a house in my father in laws name. However since he is no more, we want to transfer the ownership of house to my mother in law's name. There is no will by father in law. What is the process to be followed to transfer it to my mother in law's name. Regards,

Law does not empower any one to transfer the property to the name of the mother till he possess right over the property absolutely. The house you have a house in my father in laws name. Q: What are the chances of winning annulment in divorce proceedings

My Husband went overseas after 13 days of marriage and never returned back to india. he did not get our marriage registered (Hindu marriage). I filed for annulment of marriage after 6 months of my marriage. He turned up at the court saying he wants mediation. During mediation, he refused to accept annulment of my marriage and wanted mutual divorce without compensating me for the mental torture him and his parents put me through.I want to know my chances of winning the annulment case as i hardly stayed with him for a week. He had also got engaged to another girl in 2012 about which he hid the facts. his previous engagement broke because his mother demanded dowry from the girl and he stopped responding to her once she refused to pay.

MOU for separation between wife and husband had been executed between 2 parties and a mediator, if it is registered it is required to be get cancelled by get registering the cancellation of the deed. Till the deed is cancelled it holds good if it is a legally valid MOU. Go to an advocate and show the deed and have his opinion.
