Brideand her family faked their religion

16-Apr-2023 (In Family Law)
Hi, I am a hindu and I got married last year august. During the marriage talks my wife parents said they are hindu, but on the marriage day only we came to know they are protestant christians. They have a hindu name in certificates and other legal documents and a christian name unofficially. However they practice only christianity and they said theyconvert to their daugther to hindu and our marriage was registered exactly 1 month from our marriage date as per hindu act. But she continued to be christian and I broadmindedly left that, now my wife is pregnant and soon to deliver our baby. 2 months back we had an arguement regarding on keeping hindu name for the baby for which she said the baby will be following christianity and she left me. Now they are not reveling anything about the baby and saiying they will divorce me once the baby is born. Please someone advice me on what should I do take legal action against them for faking their religion and marrying me and how to secure my baby.

this is a common act. very many people convert their religion as per their which but keep the original religion on papers to get benefit out of it. I will suggest you to strongly deal this in in very optimistic manner. simple trick but are very effective one that you can do. make sure that you are very vigilant during the time of labour, once the child is born, quickly get application form from the hospital and fine the application with the Hindu name and apply for birth certificate. also get a community certificate from the tahsildar office at the earliest. do not communicate about this to anyone including your wife, Derby once birth certificate is officially released there is no going back on it
