DV Case filed against my husband and in-laws
09-Jan-2023 (In Domestic Violence Law)
I have filed DV case against my husband and in-laws. However my husband refused to take the notice by court. Hence the judge made him expartie and ordered for plaintiff evidence. What are the next steps should I follow ?
Dear Madam,
Take benefit of the situation. Just court receives your evidence in the form of your Affidavit and mark your all documents.. Then formally hear your advocate and pronounce judgment in your favor. If you have not claimed alimony now you can amend the petition and claim huge amount as alimony it will be given. If claimed make it double. Please come to my office for more legal suggestions.
you have to lead the evidence and if your husband appeared in meantime they might seek. permission of court to file the objections,.if they are not they pass the judgement on basis of your evidence and award the prayer amount and compensation and you have to proceed for recovering that maintenance amount.
