What is the latest Gift Deed tax in Uttar Pradesh? There was something about abolishing it in the newspapers in July/August 2017. We are hindus.
Gifting a property would attract 2% stamp duty . in addition registration charges would have to be paid. the government has waived off the stamp duty if the property gifted is among the blood relationship. e.g brother to brother or father to son
