Procedure to obtain succession certificate

My husband who was in Army had a POSTAL LIFE INSURANCE, in which he gave his father's name in nominee unfortunately he met with an accident and died. Now my name was included after his death as a nominee, I have two sons of 3 years. I have received a letter to submit a SUCCESSION CERTIFICATE, now how to obtain this certificate, how much time it takes, how much money is required, and who provides it.

There are two places where application for grant of succession certificate can be submitted. Location of filing depends upon the amount involved. For smaller and determined amount upto Rs. 10 Lacs it can be file with administrator general of the state otherwise with the court of the district judge

You have to first mention the reason as to why you want succession certificate and to how many legal heir are their for succession and have to pay court fee also on the succession certificate from the court. Call us through the website

Hello, file in senior civil court as o.p , with all relevant documents of the deceased person and movable and immovable property details and court fee and paper publication .

it will take 6 to 9 months.for final order.
