Procedure to get guardianship certificate for daughter by mother

Hi, my daughter is staying with me from last 13 yrs. My husband expired last year. Now for getting pension company asked for guardianship cert from court. My daughter is minor and how much time will take to get guardianship cert from court.
You have to file a case before District court to get appointed as a guardian of your daughter and obtain a guardian certificate. But please check with the company they might get agreed with the succession certificate.
