If you have the copy of the documents, you can obtain the certified copies and must also file a complaint in the local police station about the missing of the complaint and can get it registered in your name.

Dear Client,
When original document of Sale Deed is lost it will not be recovered. You will get certified copy of the same by applying in the same Registrar Office. It is equivalent to original. Obtain the Certified Copy of the Sale Deed. You must inform the death of your father to Corporation or Mandal or Taluq Office for mutation of name of your father to your name by submitting death certificate of your father.

You please approach the concerned department s and get certified documents of the said property. The electricity much record may also be obtained. Then you can enter into agreement to sell out the property. If you want to get the property in your name then partition the properties amongst all family members and get release your share in your name with the consent of other members of family.

Response:
You have to apply for certified copy in the sub registrar office. Regarding transfer of property, you have to obtain the death certificate of your father and then obtain succession certificate from court/legal heir certificate from MRO. You have not mentioned that whether the property is open land or House property. If it is open land you apply for mutation of your name in MRO Office, If it is House, then you apply for mutation in Municipal Office.
