Documentary Evidence admissibilty in the court
17-Sep-2023 (In Documentation Law)
Hi , kindly help on the following questions 1)Does documentary admission by a person will be admissible without his /her signature on it , does this admission hold any evidentary value even if contents are partl true? 2) The documentary admission by a person {without signature} is a photocopy , however original was destroyed by the person who made the admission , defendent just have the photocopy . Will this be admissible.
Documentary Evidence means writings on paper and that paper will be of no value if it does not have required signatures.
If that document has valid signatures then that will be admissible in the court even when it is partially true.
as I have said above if there is document it should signed properly and if signatures are there then photocopy can work to some extent without the originals or for the same affidavit can be given.
