Case filed was dismissed due to absence of lawyer

If a lawyer does not inform you the next hearing date,neither gives any written /verbal communication about his intention to discontinue the case,is unable to be contacted and the filed case is dismissed in court ,can a negligence case be filed against the lawyer.
Yes you can register a written complaint with the local Bar Council giving details of your matter. Also you can make an application for restoration of your case giving reasons for non apperance and court will restore the same.
