if you do not engage a counsel then your case will be favoured in your wifes favour since it will be non complaiance to the directions of the high court. There are also chances of she loosing her case if you handle the case diligently and if you not you will be at a trouble.

though there is no specific Law to transfer of cases in family matters, the decisions so far are generally in favour of wife to get a case transferred to the place of her convenience, but your husband may also urgent police transfer by giving some valid grounds.

sir normally in most of the cases the petitions are transferred to the place where the wife resides, if you do not appear or engage a lawyer the court will hear the lawyer of your spouse and pass necessary orders which normally will transfer the petition where the wife resides, if you engage a lawyer court will hear both sides and pass orders.

Dear Sir, It is a common sense that if you did not appear or engage lawyer to represent you then the court will hear the advocate for your wife on the merits of the transfer petition. Most probably it will be allowed and case will be transferred to the concerned New Court.
