if your wife has taken away your kid with the help of police and not allowing you to talk and meet with your child then file a child custody in family court and court will pass the order to meet your child and thereafter custody may also be given after considering the facts and circumstances of the case.

dear client as per your query I can only suggest that you can file child custody at any instance but to show your bona fide how you will take care of the child that you have to illustrate as per your query some dispute is there between both of you and mediation has failed but no elaborate discription is been given so for future paid consultation please contact us with your relevant documents.
