What to do if divorce case is not getting any further

My wife stayed with me only six months after that she left my house with gold which we gave her on marriage and then I filed 9A she didn't come after one year I filed divorce case again and even if I have more than enough proof against her then to m helpless coz she and her lawyer are just taking long dates
Well every case is different and i dont now what stage your case is in however this might be your lawyer problem as he might not be interested in fighting the case as such all you can do is change your lawyer who has time for the case and just dont simply agree to long dates

You can challenge the procedure of court in higher court for the Transfer of case in other court. Or you can aproch to HIGH COURT to time bound the the time period of case.

Contesting Divorce case usually takes long when parties are at loggerheads and if details regarding maintenance etc have to be settled. If the case is pending for more than 2 years you can apply for the case to be transferred to a fast track court, where judgement is pronounced within 6 months.
If both parties are ready for divorce, mutual consent divorce is best option as it takes around 6 months to 1 year. But the dispute regarding maintenance and child custody have to be settled amicably.
