want to file a mutual consent divorce from my wife

As there are many opinion, understanding & other issues b/w my wife & me, we decided to file a mutual consent divorce. 14yrs or marriage with a boy of 12yrs. my wife is engineer but presently not working. how long will it take to get divorce? how many hearings? can i get child custody? what document are required? lawyer fee details & alimony related info.

For mutual divorce only two hearings will be held . From how many years u got separated or staying away from each other should be known to advocate. Regarding child custody u have more chances to get child custody ad ur wife not working .documents required is Aadhaar card marriage certificate if any , marriage wedding photo, card and passport photo of both of u.

hi if you want to file a mutual consent divorce then you need to arrive a settlement that who has to obtain custody and what is the alimony and all other things should be discussed in advance before filing the divorce petition and it would take ateast 6 months to get divorce

hello sir, to file mutual consent divorce it will vary upon case above facts and on average it will take around 1 year to 1 and half year or even below also, child custody we have to prove for the court. documents are varied according to religion.
