Tortured badly for dowry by inlaws.
31-Aug-2023 (In Divorce Law)
My inlaws tortured me for dowry. They treated me very badly. And now they are looking for some other option without divorce. They have thrown me out of my marital home. Please help me and guide me. I need help.
as you told in your problem that your husband the in law are torturing you and want to get rid of you without divorce then I want to tell you that there is no such provision in the law which allow divorce without divorce while the first wife is alive can't to the second marriage you can sue your husband under section 498a ipc Or 3/4 dowry act and 125 crpc 406etc
you should file a police complaint against your husband and in-laws for harassment and cruelty for dowery demands. you can also file a criminal complaint before the concerned criminal court for domestic violence. you can also file a petition under Section 125 of Criminal Procedure Code for maintenance. you can contact me for further information and consultation with out any hesitation through the administrator of this website
You need to file an application under Section 12 of the Domestic Violence Act 2005. This does not mean divorce but you will get
1. Protection
2. Some maintenance
3. Cohabitation with your husband
I need to know what exactly is it that you want.
- To live in your marital home with protection?
- A divorce?
- Separation?
