Time taken for divorce decree to pass along with amount of maintenance

How much time does it take for divorce to finalize. How much alimony and maintenance does a wife get who is a home maker.

It depends upon case to case, like what kind of dispute arose between the parties. Wife can claim for maintenance either through 125 Cr.p.c. or Section 24 in The Hindu Marriage Act. So without complete information it is not possible to calculate time.

Dear client,
It will depend on at what satge the matter is going on.If u filed fresh divorce case than in that case it will took 3 to 4 years.Dear client if wife is home maker than she will get 50%of ur salary or if husband is doing business than 50% of the profit husband is earning per month.There are so many judgment which says that wife is entitled to enjoy same status what she is enjoying at her matrimonial home.

The maintenance a wife gets depends on the monthly salary, turnover of an year, and the assets the hisband has, and if the custody of children is with the wife then the xoensss kf the children are extra. So overall it takes around an year to finalize the divorce , the first motion is passed in second months and then second motion in the other 6 mont

It depends on the case and scenario of yours and the other party.
If both pArties get agree then mAtter can be dissolved early. In case of compromise.
But minimum time is in case of mutual consent ie within few weeks.

If you and your spouse amicably agree for a mutual divorce, then it takes 6 months for first motion and second motion of divorce. in case it is a contested petition of divorce, then it will take its own course of law. the amount of alimony and maintenance is decided between the parties in mutual consent whereas in contested case, the maintenance is decided by the Court as per the income / earning of the husband after deducting his liabilities.
