Signing a Power of Attorney to represent me in court in India

24-Aug-2023 (In Divorce Law)
My husband is in India and I permanently resided in France. We got marrried in Punjab. We filed for a mutual divorce last year at Pune court but it was rejected. Since I am abroad, my husband is handling the divorce procedures. He sent me a PoA so that another person can represent me in court. I need this PoA to be checked from an independent source to be sure I am not signing anything that can be harmful for me.

As you stated that your husband has filed a divorce case against you in India, he lives in Punjab and the divorce application filed by you is filed in Pune and you are permanently residing at present. Lives in France and you initially in that divorce case through power of attorney appear that is rejected After which your husband has also sent OA for you on which you have been asked to sign, then let me tell you that no divorce by agreement is ever valid in the Hindu Marriage Act, you will have to file a petition before the judge and Your relationship will be severed only by the Family Judge otherwise youremain husband and wife
