Hello sir, Well it all depends upon what you want Whether you want to fight the court cases or just have to get rid of your wife and that relationship But if you’ll really ask an expert legal opinion then I would really recommend you to prefer one time settlement and move on in your life otherwise court cases usually takes around 3-4 years minimum. So it’s better if your wife is agreeing on 3 lakhs as it is not a big amount compared to what wifes are asking these days. My advice for you would be to take a divorce and prefer the one time settlement option

Hi! I would suggest that your wait for some more time before settling if you really have not done anything wrong. Fight the case. Eventually, she’ll come to lesser amount. Additionally, we would suggest you to file divorce and custody cases so that settlement can happen officially. You’ll be safe that way.

Prima facie, it looks like the woman just wants to leave you and your child. 3 lakh alimony settlement is not a huge amount and you should consider settlement of the matter at this stage. It will give you a relief from going to court every other day which comes with additional stress and lawyer fees.
