Regarding mediation in family court

23-Jan-2023 (In Divorce Law)
Hi, I would like to know as to how long it takes to refer a case to mediation from first hearing in Bangalore family court approximately? Also, can external counselling be requested by one party in mediation?

Dear Sir,
It all depends on the profile of your advocate and managing the staff by you personally. Usually external counseling will be avoided by the Courts. Normally if once the case goes for mediation it may be with mediators for 2-6 months then they will file a report.
