Recovering of my stridhan from husband and also needs legal separation

I lived with my husband only for 55 days.On 55th day I stepped out from his home due to mental torture from husband and father in law.when I stepped out from his home his father abused me with bad words and tried to slap me before my husband.And I was carrying at that time.we are not having any kind contact for 9 months.my delivery was on last month.i thought he will contact me after this delivery.but he never enquired about me.in our life he never spent a single money for any of my expense.ow we are not having any communication for 9 months.ow I decided to separate legally from my husband.i need to get divorce from my husband.he is working in government sector.i also need alimony from my husband for meeting the expense of my child.i am a house wife with one month old child.my qualification is Mtech but now I am jobless.so I want to know when should I file a divorce and is there any possibility to get alimony from my husband?
