I have the judgement digital copy sent through email by the Dubai court. It states I have lost custody of my son and not interfere with the plaintiff or the child except as legally permissible. My question is if this valid in India? If so how can I get it validated so I can then move to remove my wife's name from my passport and other documents as a legal hier to my belongings

both are different. from your message, it is understood that your wife had obtained an order from bubai court regarding custody of the child born to you both and divorcee proceedings are different, so there may be another case pertaining to the same or else you have file a case against your wife seeking divorce. then only the name of spouse could be changed in the passport and related documents

Q: Property transfer to mother in absence of one of the legal heir

We are planning to register all of my father's property in our mother's name. My father has passed away, and my mother, elder brother, and I are the legal heirs of my father's property. My brother is in Canada and is facing some difficulties traveling to India due to PR issues. Is there any way to transfer the properties to my mother's name without my brother's presence?

your brother should have to execute a ower of attorney in the name of your mother and the same should have to get attested from the Indian embassy. thereafter it should have to be adjudicated. with that power of attorney, definitely the power holder can act in the absence of your brother

Q: Dividend withheld by private limited company

My father and mother were receiving dividend from a Private Ltd. company where they are shareholders. Father was initially working as director in the same company, but later was forced to resign. After resignation, my father took a break of 2 years and then started working in a similar competitor company since his skill is in that domain and to look after the family. Knowing this, the company stopped giving out dividends to my parents. It's been 4 years and we want pending dividend back.Plz help

at first you may make a request to the company to release the dividend at the instance if the company was not provided declared dividend to your parents who being the share holders of the company and even after your request if the company persona denies to provide dividend, then the ready is to approach the registar of companies or before the statutory authority as per the companies act
