Is it possible to transfer a divorce case from Family court, Nagpur to Umred Civil and District Court? Please note that both these courts are in Nagpur District. Family court Nagpur is in Nagpur city and Umred is a town/tehsil in Nagpur. Please let me know
If there is a Family Court at Nagour, then you cannot have your divorce proceeding transferred to a Civil Court, unless you want it to be transferred to some other Court in a different district. Feel free to contact me for seeking any legal advice as regards the same.

Well, if you want to transfer the case within a same state from one Court to another, you have to file a case in the concerned High Court and after getting favorable order from that High Court, Case can be easily transferred. However, whether you get the success in getting the case transferred or not depends upon the valid reasons which you have and how you prove them via your Advocate to get the case transferred.
