Planning to take Divorce from Husband and behaving very badly with me

15-Oct-2023 (In Divorce Law)
Mine is 13 years of Marriage and have 12 year old son also. My husband is very aggressive and keeps loosing his job and fights with everyone at home and outside too. To run family I started working back because of out of our 13 years of marriage he worked only 6.5 years only and was idle most of the time. From past 7 years house expenditure and kids basic facilities are borne by me. He pays only house rent and school fees partially. He abuses me and my family and even kid also. Every time he makes us feel that by paying rent and school fee he is doing a favor. nIt is effecting my kids mental health. He keeps putting pressure on kid for studies though the kid is very good in studies. Please suggest can I go for divorce.

Dear Madam, Better to take divorce and enjoy the rest of life with dignity and let suffer your absence in his rest life journey. It seems you have given him ample opportunities for him to correct himself. Enough is enough.

you can file for divorce on the grounds of cruelty ( the aggression ) and not maintaining son. gather some proof, your son probably can be a witness. You may have to go out aapka present residence with your son to start living separately.

Yes you can, for grounds amounting to cruelty among others. Are you still residing with him? Has there been counselling or other method of reconciliation or has there been a discussion to mutually separate among you’ll before?
