Notice coming on different address

Hello my wife has filed maintaince case against me and i stay in mumbai but notice are coming on delhi address my wife has my mumbai address also .this time postman droped the notice in house without taking reciveing sign from anyone . i got to know this from my tenants . she has,demanded 1 lakh and notice has my mumhbai address also but no notice has come to mumbai .i checked on website already 4 dates have passed earlier. what should i do in this case?

if your wife has filled the maintenance case ,she will send the Notice through court on every known address as She is not confirm about your address. if she has filed in the same state where you are residing ,then reply the maintenance case in concern court ,if she filed in different states then you need to file transfer petition in supreme court for transfer the case where you are residing.

Dear Client In case the notices were dropped on your address in Delhi. The court can assume that your wife has sufficiently served you and then proceed with the matter. In case you fail to appear more that three times, the court may also proceed ex-parte against you. It is advisable to appear personally or through your advocate. By help of the lawyer you can file the motion to explain that you didn’t received the notice at your current address in Mumbai. The motion can request that the court considers your situation and allows you to participate in future proceedings

immediately track status of your case and if you didn't recive summon till now than arrange case file from court.. but dont run from court proceedings it will b against you..collect evidence whether your wife is having any job Or other source of income. contact us for more free legal advice
