yes for getting divorce either you both have to file a petition for mutual consent divorce or you have to file a petition against him if he is not ready to give consent for mutual consent divorce. you have to file petition under section 13b for mutual consent or section 13 of Hindu marriage act on grounds which are applicable to your case.

if you are a woman and can explain what was the kind of propose that was used get you married to someone whom you did not like, there are chances for filing for cancellation of the marriage . if you do not show such a force are if you are not a then you only have to file for divorce.
