Yes first hold a meeting come to a consensus and then file a mutual consent divorce petition by engaging a lawyer and thereafter a decree for divorce will be granted after due enquiry by the court and if the court is satisfied that the marriage is broken down beyond repair it will grant divorce.

Yes, you can file for a mutual divorce if both parties agree to the separation and the terms, though specific conditions must be met under Indian law. The process is generally faster and less contentious than a contested divorce.

Dear Sir, The next step is to mutually decide the terms regarding alimony/maintenance, child custody (if any), division of assets, and closure of all pending claims. Once these terms are settled amicably, a joint petition can be filed before the Family Court. The process is generally quick, peaceful, and avoids unnecessary litigation. I can help you draft the terms and guide you through the entire procedure to ensure a fair and stress-free settlement.
