Mutual divorce as my wife is also in agreement

My wife is ready for mutual divorce and also she doesn’t want any alimony or maintenance. She is ready to leave my child’s custody with me. Also, we have lived separately for 1.5 years and then she came back, now after staying together for 10 months we found out that our marriage cannot work. How can I go about it and also what will be the procedure to get this started and get divorced soon? How much will be the cost as well.

Hello sir, As you and your wife have agreed for mutual divorce with no alimony and child custody, you both can file joint petition before the court. These terms should be clearly recorded in the petition.

you can easily file for mutual consent divorce since both the parties are not interested to stay in marriage, Mutual consent divorce can be resolved within a month. All the terms and conditions regarding the child custody and property will be resolved during the case itself.

if your wife is in agreement for a mutual consent divorce then the period of separation can be managed by your advocate. the earlier one and half years that you say where you lived separately does not count now. fast of a mutual consented divorce depends upon the Advocate who is handling it like the cost if you get it treatment from a junior doctor compare to the fee from a specialist.

If marraige is not working between you then you both can proceed for mutual divorce and it can be finishe within a week but as you mentioned that you both a child also out of this marriage . So both of you think welfare of your child before you take this big decision. Mutual consent Divorce is simple procedure and your need to present twice before the court and will be done by advocate back in office.

yes you can grant divorce by mutual petition where did you residing? it. will be cost in puttur D.K 25000 for both parties Outside it will be charged a little more If you visit my office I can explain
