Mother in law along with my husband mentally harassed me.

My mother in law along with my husband mentally harassed me and not allowing me to stay at matrimonial home. Asked me to stay in PG or stay at home because I am working. I don't know the exact cause but they are demanding my entire salary Even though I am spending on them still they are torturing me and for small issues you shouldn't spend your money in purchasing kitchen items do not eat this do not eat that. Like I have a habit of drinking nariyal water then my husband and MIL stopped me

Donu want to take any legal and police action on them it depends upon u. U should try to sort the matter by involving ur family members. if it doesnt help and it has been happening since long time then u should give a written complaint in police. Also send d a legal notice via advocate. This comes under cruelty and domestic violence. You can further contact for complete information.

The harassment, demands for your salary, and controlling your personal spending constitute mental cruelty and domestic violence. ​Actions: ​File for Divorce on Grounds of Cruelty. ​File an application under the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence (DV) Act for a Residence Order and Protection Order from harassment.

according to your query your husband as well as your mother in law they both are doing mental cruelty with you and undue harassment you can talk both to this regard and also with the relative of them and also take a counselling, otherwise you have the some other remedy

If you want to live in your matrimonial home and they are not supporting or harassing you. The best way is the file case under the DV Act. in this case , by the order of the magistrate, you can stay that same home with the protection of the court . they can't harass or oust from you the house
