you have not given enough details for me to be able to give any advice. weather you both are living separately from one another and if so since when ? has your relationship gone so bad as to make him seek separation ? appears that you need to reply to the legal notice. you can send it to me.

Get a reply notice sent to his notice stating that you are not inclined to give him a divorce. Which if he’s adamant on getting one, he may proceed to file a case for divorce and you’d have to contest it.

Please reply to his notice and make it very clear that you are not willing to give him divorce and deny the allegations made by him. Your husband can't give you divorce if he does not have a valid ground for divorce. You can file for restitution of conjugal rights and also challenge the divorce petition.

Dear Madam, Most of the provisions of different enactments are in favour of married women. You can file counter claim in the same divorce case under Section 9 of Hindu Marriage Act seeking Restitution of Conjugal Rights. Secondly you can file two more interim applications. One for interim maintenance and another for permanent alimony because in most case if divorce is allowed you need huge compensation from him.
