Maintanence finalised by the court. I want second opinion

15-Jan-2023 (In Divorce Law)
I was granted maintenance by the court during the initial stage of my divorce case. Although now my husband has sent me a notice for the recovery of the same on the grounds that I misrepresented facts about my income and i am capacitated to earn. He has also asked for an additional 20 lacs on the same grounds. Will his notice be entertained by the court. My case is almost in finalisation stage, cross-examination of my ex is going on. I am a Hindu.

Yes, he can contest on such grounds if he finds that your circumstances are varied. Infact if your husband is not earning well and you have good source of income, u might be directed to him. Rest all your facts are not clear, a proper answer can be suggested when complete details would be told.

Yes his protest on your interim maintenance order can effect final judgement of the court and if proved true on his part your interim maintinance order which was allowed can be revocked and you my return the entire amount received on this false ground.
