is it safe to submit DD in the family court as a alimony to wife
04-Mar-2025 (In Divorce Law)
I wanted to know that is it safe to submit DD in favour of my wife as a permanent alimony in the family court at the time of filing mutual divorce?
Is there any possibility that my wife will take the DD from the court custody before the second date of cooling period of mutual divorce.
Demand draft is the one of the best way to make the payment in courts because it can be traced and can be cancelled if circumstances desired so.
. If you are filing the mutual divorce petition in which wife will get the maintanence after the completion of divorce proceedings you can submit the amount of maintenance via DD. If your wife take it without the consent of court then it will be a serious offence.
dd will be cleared in his account and the statement of your bank account and your wife's bank account will be annexed at the time of final hearing than the last order will be passed by the court and the matter will be decreed and if you want to submit your dd in court you can also submit it there and your wife receive amount through family court procedure but it is a lengthy process..
