You may move the local Family Court with the help of a lawyer. It would be more helpful if you could include more facts with your question. These details could help you in finding the most suitable lawyer to represent you in the matter.

If you wish to seek a divorce from your wife due to personal and family reasons, there are two main legal routes under the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955: mutual consent divorce and contested divorce. If both you and your wife agree to separate amicably, a mutual consent divorce can be filed, which is generally faster and less complicated, requiring a minimum six-month waiting period after the initial filing. However, if your wife does not agree, you may file a contested divorce citing valid legal grounds such as mental cruelty, desertion, or other legally recognized issues. I can assist you with drafting the petition, collecting supporting documents, and representing you before the family court. Let me know how you wish to proceed.
