Hello you can file for divorce in two ways firstly contested under section 13(1) of the Hindu marriage act if other party doesn't agree for mutual divorce, steps involved will be drafting petition, filing case in court with jurisdiction, written statement, evidences and finally arguments. Secondly you can file divorce with mutual consent under section 13(B) of Hindu marriage act if other partner agrees mutual for terms and condition, steps involved will be drafting & filing petition in court, 1st motion and second motion after six months.

In every divorce case u have to make the base of grounds that on what grounds u are filing the divorce petition .See there are three grounds for divorce which are effective in ur case.One is desertion,cruelty,and mental and physical harassment .So on all these basis u can get the divorce u/s13of HMA.
