I Want Divorce. However Wife Can File Case Of Dv And Dowry

Hi. I married on 31/12/2018. I am not happy with my marriage we have tried our level best however we failed now I want divorce. I am of the view that my wife can file dowry and dv case if I file for divorce how can I get myself free from entanglement of dowry and dv. My wife stays in valsad and I in Mumbai where can the divorce case be filed also how can I save myself from dovry and dv allegations

As per law , You can file for divorce only after an year of marriage. So for filing Divorce case , you have to wait till January 2020. In the meantime you may speak to your wife for amicable settlement of dispute to desist her for filing dowry or DV case against you and may get a divorce by mutual consent.

You can file for Divorce in Mumbai. You can save urself by first filing the Divorce petition and mention the said facts making Dowry and DV allegation after thought. For further procedure kindly contact us. Thanks

you file a criminal complaint against your wife with police stating for harassment you can file for divorce where your marriage was solmnized or where you both last lived together for filing divorce you will have to wait for completion of 1 year of marriage you cant file for dowry or DV against your wife but a criminal complaint can take care of that also submit complaint copies in valsad wherein your wife is staying at present so that police knows the truth
